Endometriosis is a common disorder of the female reproductive organs and is the leading cause of chronic pelvic pain in women. It is the abnormal growth of endometrial cells outside the Uterus-Ayurveda considers endometriosis to be a kapha disorder.

According to Ayurveda endometriosis is the vistiation of kapha dosha resulting from an accumulation of toxins in the reproductive tissues that has caused the disease. Panchakarma treatments will eliminate the accumulated toxins from our body. Abhayanga, Swedana, Shirodhara and Basti are given as part of Ayurvedic treatment for endometriosis.

Diet plan for endometriosis:

  • 7:00 : 5 TO 7 Soaked almonds
  • 8:00 : spinach + ginger + amala+ bottle gourd +mint --- Juice ( You can add pinch of salt for taste)
  • 10.00 : Breakfast
  • Vegetable poha
  • Upama
  • Cereals with milk ( Cow milk)
  • Spouted mung
  • Handful nuts ( Apricot, walnut, makkhana, almond, fig)
  • Bowel of salad ( Cabbage, beetroot, turnip, corn, cucumber, broccoli, tomatoes etc. you can add olive oil, oregano, salt for taste)
  • Fruits – ripe papaya, apple, orange, coconut water, avocado, banana, pears, plums

  • Vegetables ( cabbage, beans, lentils, sweet potato, peas, bitter gourd, cauliflower, dark green leafy vegetables, broccoli, garlic, onion etc)

Life style
  • Sleep early, rise early
  • Drink plenty of warm water
  • Drink a warm milk with Satavrex (Ayurvedic powder) before going to bed
